Description

Acetyl Carnitine supports the transport of free fatty acids across the mitochondrial membrane, aids in fat burning and provides more energy! Acetyl L-Carnitine promotes memory function. Vegetarian capsule.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALC).

Is a substance related to L-Carnitine that, however, has some unique properties particularly on the central nervous system that L-Carnitine itself does not have. An important difference from L-Carnitine is that ALC crosses the blood-brain barrier very easily. ALC therefore plays an important role in brain metabolism. Acetyl L-Carnitine can be produced in the mitochondria of the brain, liver and kidneys from the amino acid L-Carnitine and an acetyl group. As we age, Acetyl-L-Carnitine levels decrease. The only nutritional source is animal brain so as we age we rely on supplements to restore Acetyl-L-Carnitine levels. ALC from dietary supplements is synthesized from other amino acids so it is suitable for vegetarians.

ALC supports the transport of free fatty acids across the mitochondrial membrane, aids in fat burning and provides more energy! Acetyl Carnitine promotes memory function. Vegetarian capsule.
